Muntjac chasing a cat.

Just seen our local Muntjac stag chasing a cat through our garden.Does anybody know why it would chase a cat?

It may have a fawn and see the cat as a threat.

Under cirtain cercumstances it is beleaved that a Muntjac will kill a dog ,so i would think a cat may suffer the same fate .

We have seen the doe in our garden,maybe they have set up home around here.One more mouth to feed then!!

I'd be interested to know if anyone has seen any documentary evidence of Muntjac killing dogs in Britain.
