| | | Re: Formby Red Squirrels I work as a volunteer at formby, the squirrels are making a comeback a 120 have been tagged as part of a research project into the squirrel pox virus. The squirrels on the site now spend more time in the canopy so making them harder to see. Until recently its been a matter of looking for feeding signs in area to find them.
The wardens have now placed some feeders in the trees in the area of squirrel walk and these have now made it easier to see the squirrels. |
