Does anybody have any idea, how deep, rabbits burrow in the wild (or in captivity come to that?) I wont bore you all to death for the reasons behind my query, but will explain later if anyones really interested - Thanks Wizzo

It depends on the soil and the age of the warren and how many rabbits live in it.

'How long is a piece of string?' I know of ancient 'warrens' which riddle old roadside banks and run for over half a mile. Or you may find a bolt hole no more than a few feet deep.
So not a question with an easy answer.
