Are the mouse traps attracting the mice in?

We have mice under our floor. We have blocked off numerous holes and meshed the airbricks, and i am meshing the remaining air bricks to be sure. We have sealed floors in the kitchen etc, everything we can to deter the mice. So is it possible the chocolate spread on the traps is tempting the mice in? So if i take the risk of removing the traps will they stop coming in or will i be over run. We have had 8 since the weather got colder last week!

I think it extremely unlikely that the traos are attracting the mice. If you remove the traps the mice will still be there, but you probably won't be over-run. But I'd leave the traps active, if I were you.

Are you sure you have found every hole? If you can get a pencil through a gap, a mouse will get in!
