| | | Jackpot with Camera trap :D -help with ID I have 'hit the jackpot' so to speak with my camera trap again obtaining an image of the foxes i was looking for
shame about the blurry head- probably because it was moving i have quite a few shots of the fox mostly around 9pm ish
Here is where the ID help needs to come in, at 11:45pm the same night i get this image:
If you can see the animal is near the back, is this the badger again? Seeing as it is lower down to the ground than the fox and has differently coloured back patterns, the camera trap is also placed along a well worn badger path.
Any ideas? |

| | | Re: Jackpot with Camera trap :D -help with ID I don't think you can get a positive ID from the last one. It certainly looks like a badger shape, but it could equally be a fox too. Keep at it, it's very interesting. |

| | | Re: Jackpot with Camera trap :D -help with ID Fox in pic HXC-0113 - you can see the black socks.
Don't know about HXC-123 although if you compare the height of the fox with the background, this creature appears to be a lot lower down. Maybe badger.

| | | Re: Jackpot with Camera trap :D -help with ID I'd go for Badger too. It certainly looks the same as some of my blurry captures of them. |
