| | | Deer surprise Hi folks, just thought I`d share this story with you. Husband & myself went to Cotswold Water Park yesterday. We were very pleased to see our first ever Red-Crested Pochard. On walking around the lanes we made a comment to ourselves to look out for Roe Deer (I`haven`t had a good sighting of one before). As soon as this was said my husband spotted one in a gap in the fence across the fields. As it was neither of us had our cameras out of the bags at the time & by the time we had he had scarpered. I took a few shots of where he was just in case he was hiding there, but we saw nothing. We consoled ourselves & I always say a photo is a bonus, just seeing something is a thrill. When we up-loaded the photos on the evening I was very surprised to see this little fellow poking it`s head out of the cover, I was dead chuffed
Can you spot him? he`s not the one we seen, this one must have been lying low & popped up to see why the other one had dissappeared

| | | Re: Deer surprise Hi Deb, thanks for looking. We did have a nice day. It was dry but blustery. Worth it for this deer sighting & the Red Crested Pochard
