Otter tracks are wide as opposed to long as in fox.
There is a bit of similarity between otter and badger tracks as both have the wide shape
Also you can often see the webbing of otter tracks in soft surfaces such as mud
The heel pad in a fox print is not much bigger than any of the toe prints whereas the heel pad in a dog print is enormous
