| | | Fox bites woman in "revenge attack"! This was in our local weekly paper this morning: A HUNT supporter has told of her horror after a fox mauled her arm in what she believes is a "revenge" attack.
Credible enough story, probably a very silly thing to do to approach a possibly injured or confused wild animal. Even an injured mouse is going to give you a nasty nip if you try to touch it, never mind a fox.
But the thing which I could believe was that they actually printed her thoughts that the fox may have recognised her from the New Years Day hunt! I know foxes are supposed to be cunning, but hardly think it set out to ambush her! Don't know who looks the more daft - the women for saying it, or the paper for printing it! |

Judging by all the comments below the article, everyone is wise to these types of ridiculous article now. |

She looks like a simpleton.
For forty five minutes she presumably bled from a wound an inch square. Interesting.

She is 46, has been working with foxes for forty years, so presumably since the age of 6? | The word fruitcake came to mind.
These folks will say absolutely anything to 'prove' foxes are evil. |

I'm sorry, but this sort of comment does not, IMHO, belong in the 21st century.
Shame on you Boddie. |
