| | | Re: repelling mice That gave me a laugh Shenk 1. Plan B is to use two metal strips I had left over from building my greenhouse and kept thinking it would be handy for something.
Dogghound, there is no food in the shed at the moment, but my daughter is not very tidy when she cleans out her animals so bits of food have been dropped on the floor. The chili sauce was all my own idea, i didn't want to poison the mouse even though I think it is a house mouse and I thought chili would put it off chewing. I have got a humane trap, but don't seem to have much luck with it. Anyway if mouse keeps out of the way it can stay under the shed but if it invites all its brothers and sisters over plan C will have to be more serious. |

| | | Re: repelling mice Rat scent! Mice can't stand it, they are hard-wired to abhor rats, who kill mice wherever they can. Search for "muricide". Mice also fear cat smell, except for when they are infected with a parasite that makes them "brave", they are eaten by cats, who infect other mice.
Wood shavings from a pet rat cage, with its urine in it, could work. Worth asking at a pet store.
Good luck! |

Chris. | Mice have little trouble chewing sheet aluminium! Once they can find an edge, they are away!
