| | | Pooh found in loft, can anyone identiy it pls?
Hi all. I have found the pooh in the photo in my loft and I am concerned about the health risk and damage. Can anyone please identify the animal please? Your support would be appreciated. Dave |

| | | Re: Pooh found in loft, can anyone identiy it pls? Looks like Rat, clearly size will make certain, but was it scattered about or concentrated in one area. Did you hear any noises in attic, if you have many rats you will likely hear them. Try baiting a live trap with chocolate. create a narrow passage so the rats have to go through a gap and then put your trap down.

| | | Re: Pooh found in loft, can anyone identiy it pls? Without a scale it is very difficult to tell. If it is small then put on a pair of rubber gloves and pick a piece up. Check it for smell and then try to crumble it between your fingers. If it has no strong smell and breaks up easily into dusty remains it is insectivore and probably bat. Bats are an EPS and you will need to get expert help from a licensed bat worker although there is not a great deal they can do if the creatures are in a non living area like a loft..

| | | Re: Pooh found in loft, can anyone identiy it pls? Thank you all so much for your help. It is aqround half inch in size and concentrated to one area - so far! I will do the tests as recommended. I haven't heard any scratching noises and I sleep in the room directly below the area where the pooh has been found. |
