Another skull

Saw this freshly scavenged skull in fields next to a reservoir on the south side of Glasgow. From the fur I'm guessing it's a Roe Deer. The photos don't give an idea of scale but it looked small deer size.

Yes a Roe Deer

It is hard to make out at first but basically the front part of the skull has been snapped off. The part of skin/fur at the back of the skull which would have the ears has been removed. Making it look more like a mongoose .

The lower jaw is more typically from a roe deer.
