| | | Re: Poo ID Ok, now we’re in receipt of habitat details, I will rule out cat! In my defence for suggesting cat scat, apart from the measurement given which ruled out hedgehog, those that keep cats will occasionally notice undigested vegetation in their cat’s scat due to nibbling on blades of grass to induce vomiting to expel hairballs, or undigested matter e.g. mouse hair and bones.
I agree with Dogghound's sentiments re probable incorrect measurement. |

Def not a Badger. The position was wrong. The ground is limestone pavement and badgers are not known in the area. Ok ok I may have been a bit over keen with the size. However I still maintain it was at least 5 inch by half inch! I have some other pics which are in my camera. I will have another look to see if I can find a better piccy. To be honest it did look hedghog at the time it was just the size I was amazed at. I thought it was Hog but the size of it and its lenght is way out. I`ll get my other pics and see what they look like. |

I did not say "Badgers not know in South Lakes". I said in the area!!! Also wrong area for badger poo means in between my steps and a plant pot which unless the badger was standing on tiptoe would have knocked everything over!! |
