| | | Tracks in the snow - otter?
Spotted today down my local river about 500 metres of track along the side of the river sometimes going down onto the river which is frozen. I have seen otters here before but not often. They were about 8 inches wide

| | | Re: Tracks in the snow - otter? I can't make out the individual prints in the deep snow.
For comparison, I posted some otter snow prints today in Tracks and signs images needed.
You may recognise them, they are quite distinctive five toed prints although not all five show especially on harder mud. They do in snow. |

| | | Re: Tracks in the snow - otter? Not really possible to tell from the shots provided BUT it does look surprisingly like a tail drag distinctive of an otter. I stand to be corrected of course! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
