| | Dead Badger! I spotted a dead Badger this morning on the pavement, outside the Royal Holloway College in Egham!
I've never seen one of these stunning creatures before & I am saddened that my first encounter was in this way!
I can only hope it didn't suffer at the hands of the protesting students yesterday!
Does anyone know where I might be able to see one in better circumstances around my way?

| | | Re: Dead Badger! Good idea to find out who runs your local badger group (if there is one).
They are always keen to record details of badger fatalities. Perhaps this is just an isolated case, but there are areas that attract larger numbers of fatalities. In some instances they are able to provide tunnels under new road developments, and existing ones in some cases. If there is a sett nearby, it can also stop a new development in its tracks to accommodate the badger.
