| | | Re: sgihtings of Big Cats Calm down!
There's no reason to suspect that this is anything other than a genuine enquiry from a new poster who doesn't really know there way around the site, and may not have read many posts (join date Oct 2010, 11 posts to date).
Theresa posted a link to the recent thread and received thanks for doing so - it may well be that 243Kingfisher does have something to contribute if he/she isn't put off from doing so! (I haven't seen anything that suggests trolling). |

| | | Re: sgihtings of Big Cats I can't bear the thought of a new thread arising on the topic - it's been flogged to death already...
The poster meant no harm, but I understand Styrbjorn's comment - the BC thread turned into a weary 'believers v sceptics'...every angle/viewpoint/scrap of evidence was thoroughly explored/chewed/digested.
People were getting inexplicably offended by the end and the 'big cats' themselves were shrinking in size.
It's better that people go to that thread & read everything that's already been said thus far before posting...so that the same tired old points are not raised/debated ad infinitum.
Personally, I'm not going back to that thread until there's photo evidence of a big cat biting someone's bum! |

Newcomers should be told of existing threads but to tell them to 'butt out' is not really acceptable or very welcoming. |

I was just pointing out that it was a touchy subject....some people took things quite personally on that thread (I don't even recall exactly who or what was said).......in the hope that 243kingfisher will understand the background/context to the comment - and hopefully not take it to heart.
There are enough petty feuds/squabbles on corners of the forum already | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
