| | | Re: water voles and rats Aww WV are so much cuter, put together like this its easy to tell them apart.
But I must say when they are running about in the undergrowth or swimming about as they are quick and only getting a glance it is very hard to tell one from the other.. |

| | | Re: water voles and rats Whats the story behind the photo's? I assume the rats are being humainly killed? are you doing mink control as well? Ive found rats are more of a problem in urban areas, in rural areas the two seem to co-exist due to the smaller rat populations. |

I'm a bit confused! Where are you located? You say your are trying to trap Coypu. My understanding is that Coypu were eradicated from the British Isles during the 1970's, there stronghold being originally in Norfolk. As far as I know no Coypu have not been seen or introduced since then, so I think you'll be a long time waiting in capturing one.
If you know something I don't I'll be very interested in hearing about it!

| | | Re: water voles and rats What do they actually do damage wise.
I understand they burrow into the banks of rivers and lakes and the whole bank collapses they are native to France so why are they a pest in their native country..
There have been sightings here in the UK or are these really Giant rats.. Giant rats caught in Lincoln factory... how many monsters are out there? | Mail Online |
