| | | baby mouse we recently found a mouse in the house and laid a humane trap to catch it ! we soon found out there was more than one mouse so we took them away to release them in the countryside . we laid the trap again and caught another one we are pretty sure he/she is a baby because he hops around but we dont know which type he/she is. what are the risks of keeping this as a pet and if any one could help us find out which type he/she is would be great ! thanks in advance

| | | Re: baby mouse Welcome to WAB. Wild mice (even babies) don't generally react well to being captive. If you can get a photo, someone here may be able to ID it for you.

| | | Re: baby mouse "Hops around" sounds typical wood mouse to me. They have those kangaroo style back legs, especially noticable in a youngster. |
