Questions about deer parks and the like

Ive been itching to get my hands on some deer antler for my school art project so I can carve it. But most of the antler I find is hunted, and as they drop their antlers in a little while I wanted to see if I can get some organic stuff.

Anyway, if I contacted a local park (or something) asking if I could have/buy a antler, would they say yes?

Hard to say - but I would guess that if you offered to pay money they would bite your hand off . Explain why you want it, and it would be a hard hearted park manager who said 'no', in my view.

if that doesnt pan out you can buy antler and horn blanks from knife maker and stick maker supliers like DIY Handles, Heads and Horns

by the way if you are going to carve antler you must be very careful of the dust - wear a dust mask at all times and get a good one that filters down to 0.5 micron - this is particularly true if you are using power tools

Also be aware that it's just as likely to come from shot beasts in a park as from wild deer, unless you ask specifically for cast antler.
