Your garden sounds perfect hoggy habitat for ‘full release’, so please do give Kay a ring, or send an email, to discuss this opportunity – she may know of a particular reason why hedgehogs are absent in your area, or otherwise agree that releases into your area would be a great opportunity for a recolinisation programme. Fingers crossed for the latter and who knows, before long, your area may once again be a hedgehog haven. Do keep us posted on any progress .
