Autumnwatch -Your ideas wanted

i am in total agreement ...seals,swans ,ducks, deer ....all wonderful creatures but are included in EVERY wildlife programme thats why i was nearly wetting myself with excitement with the new Johnny Kingdom programme the first one about roosting birds in the harshness of last winter was wonderful to watch and the way Johnny gets so excited about HIS wildlife !!!makes me feel very emotional ....i was sitting there watching ....talking to him through the telly saying ''this is what i have been waiting for ....the actual wildlife we see every day but dont know much about what they do at night and how they manage in the winter '' 3 cheers for Johnny ...and not 1 seal in sight !!!!!

just wanted to add ....that Autumnwatch need to pull their'' little woolly socks up ''and include some new material...i would like to see something about our amphibians and where they hibernate during the winter ....more about where the different species of garden birds roost in the winter too....bats !!!! and something about the poor old hedgeghog ....dont get me wrong i love the programme and would not miss it for anything...but sometimes i wonder is it just to get a glimpse of the lovely Martin Hughes-Games or the lush Gordon Buchanan ....Marion

More on hedgehogs and garden wildlife would be nice, just don't let the tedious Bill Oddie come back!
