Field mouse

My cat bought in a field mouse last night and he seems ok, he has a cut on one of his front legs but that seems to be all the damge but he hasnt opened his eyes since. He is very small but i dont think he is a baby. I intend to put him back outside in a day or two but im worried and dont want to do that if he cant see. Is there anything i can do that might help?

Hopefully, the mouse is only in a state of shock & doesn't have internal injuries...
