When I first saw it I thought the head was the tail, but it's actually running from left to right. I thought of a Wild Boar at first because of that, on to Fox as it's more common/likely, then considered Muntjac as suggested.
Now though, the coarse fur and short legs have me re-considering Boar - but perhaps Fox on the basis of the apparent tail-size...

Thanks for your post! Yes, I can certainly see how you came to all of those ideas. I think fox is more probable in this area and on the basis of the tail size, I would definitely go with fox.
