| | | Looks like a big cat track to me... Sorry couldn't resist.
This print was found by seb, who will hopefully add details soon.
Seb wasn't able to post this because I'm rubbish at explaining why you can't add certain words to titles.
Can anyone help him identify this footprint?
Thank you.

| | | Re: Looks like a big cat track to me... Way to small, looks like somebody has thumbed in this track. The hind pad is the wrong shape for a cat, the front (toe) pads are not typical of a dog. The two side toe pads are not high enough for a dog and ther is no space between the hind pad and the front pads, the toes look to even for a cat and are more or less level. Not a badger either the pad proportions are wrong, there are only 4 toes and the hind pad is the wrong shape. My verdict is an artistic human. |

| | | Re: Looks like a big cat track to me... You're right Dogghound, the individual thumb/finger prints are showing and overlapping forming ridges in the main pad. Nicely placed smack bang in the middle of a clear patch too although that's a possibility with a genuine track. |

But as you say it looks too perfect. In the best spot for everyone to see.... |

| | | Re: Looks like a big cat track to me... It doesnt look like these drawings either. You could rule it out on size regardless of what it looks like. A big cat would have a much larger print. |

| | | Re: Looks like a big cat track to me... thanks guys . i dint know what made this track but i do know it wasn't a artistic human , there were a whole lot more going across the end of the field and up the bank i cant see anyone bothering to keep the tracks going what would be the point .
there have been reports of a big cat in the area and sightings .
the only reason why i took that photo of that track is it was the only one that was clear enough to see what it was , the others were partial or not clear .
im not trying to prove the exsistance or disprove the exsistance of a big cat i just thought it would be nice to share somthing with other like minded people about nature . not to worry
