Actually I have gone all high-tech and now use a tiny tape retractable measure I got out of a cracker (but only where I can reach the thing I'm measuring). |

I carry a ruler everywhere but again, they are only useful if you can reach far enough. I don't think any of the prints look like mink, always difficult though with soft mud as not all the outline shows well. Let's hope for rats!
