| | | Where Can I See Wild Deer In The West Midlands? Hello Everybody,
I currently live not too far from Birmingham in the West Midlands. I wondered if anybody knew (who perhaps lives in the area) of any good spots to get out and see wild deer?
I know Cannock Chase is good for Fallow Deer, somebody told me Wyre Forest and somebody else told me to go to Clent Hills to see Muntjac ....
Would love to see Red Deer ....
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
Many Thanks,
Rob |

| | | Re: Where Can I See Wild Deer In The West Midlands? Hi Rjmartin, welcome to WAB, it`s a great friendly site. I believe there are a few Red Deer in the Wyre Forest. There are captive Red Deer at Calke Park, near Ticknall, Derbyshire. Close sightings of them last weekend but it can be crowded there.

| | | Re: Where Can I See Wild Deer In The West Midlands? Brum Airport for Muntis, heard from mostly, but still there. Bit sparse on Reds except for some of the game parks. A couple of the local manorial estates have some Sika and I think one has David's but I am not sure about that info.
