They are impressive beasts aren't they? I was in nearby Richmond Park last weekend + the rut was in full flow + quite a few odd looking chaps in camouflage kit nearby skulking in the undergrowth with long lens!  |

I thought I was going to see a Rut as a very large Stag gave chase to a smaller one but alas, no. 
They was plenty of chit chat between them all to be heard across the park.
I saw a few long lensed chaps aswell but they weren't hiding.
Adam told me off for being down wind & coming up behind the one I snapped having a rest! 
Hhopefully I can go again & see some action!

I was close to that Stag yes.
Quite thrilling actually, the hairs were up on the back of my neck!
Doesn't look like that one has seen any action yet as his antlers are still intact!
