| | | Hedgehog house on paving slab Hi, I have a wooden hedgehog house. Should I put it on a pavng slab to stop it getting damp or are they alternatives that are just as good. I have a spot in mind under a bush in the border. |

| | | Re: Hedgehog house on paving slab I put an old rubber car mat under ours, maybe you could use the slab and then put something like that on top so its not quite as cold. I put quite a bit of dust free straw inside leaving a well so he could get in and then a bucket on its side nearby with some extra straw inside for him to add, good luck x |

| | | Re: Hedgehog house on paving slab Make sure the roof is waterproof, if not put some pond liner or plastic on (or old roofing felt- new felt smells).
You can also put a doormat on the roof for added insulation.
