'Synthetic stock'!! You can't beat the smell of linseed oil treated walnut nesting against your cheek!

Regards, Audrey. | Well, they are available on the Jeremy Kyle show, where they are taken very seriously indeed. Jeremy, if you are reading this, how about devoting your resources to a better cause than any of your usual ones? 'THE BIG CAT HUNT' would make for a far more entertaining show, with less serious consequences in the 3-40 % of cases you get wrong. Graham's skills could be put to better use than they are now, counselling victims of close encounters, or people who know what they saw and are being ridiculed by family or members of forums. Just a thought.

The first production run suffered from bipod pivot pin breakages and primer strikes too. The bolt action is a little high for some people, typical Steyr, that. Good piece of kit once they got these bugs ironed out otherwise. I'll stay with my ssg.

Jim | Have a look at this then Jim : Blaser Jagdwaffen GmbH: Calibers D99 Trio
Might have a try of one when I go home.
I agree about the oil smell but, I was talking weight.

I used a Zwillinge (Doppl)for about two years, the 3rd could have been useful a couple of times.

Can't beat a good nit-pick! | I for one, am a biped AND a tetrapod Rik. You may very well be a quadruped (I'm guessing of the knuckle-walking variety) but you are also a tetrapod, as are all non-piscine vertebrates, including any that don't even have four legs such as cetaceans, snakes, caecilians (legless amphibians), birds, pterosaurs, etc.
Darren is using the correct word in the correct context, and not just for exhibitionism either.
Incidentally, I certainly don't consider myself as dumb, (my Broca's area is fully functioning thank-you) yet I have been lucky enough to see a puma and what I believe to be a melanistic leopard. I am quite familiar with British fauna and they certainly weren't foxes, badgers, dogs, moggies, deer or anything else that is put forward as a mis-ID. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
