What are green corridors. By the way, yesterday as I looked for bats I noticed a brown thing that looked like a fly in a darkness. It was in the same time as the dawn chorus. The brown fly was three houses away in a dark patch. Iam sure it is a pipestrelle bat, but what do you think?

Green corridors are also used by birds, mammals and insects to move between the pastures and woodlands and through or around human habitation.
Bats can see quite well, echolocating uses energy (something like 0.06 of a joule) so they follow hedgerows using (largely) their eyes, so looking for linear features joining possible feeding areas and you have a green corridor.
