| | | Wildcat Photo (captive) Was at wildwood trust in Kent yesterday, and the combination of the sun disappearing behind the cloud and the fact it is largely wooded was hampering photography, but I did manage a nice close up of one of the wildcats. |

| | | Re: Wildcat Photo (captive) I think many are. Do they have any pure-(or as near as damn it)breds in these places? I haven't seen any.
They are still gorgeous creatures.
I would like one as a pet, but don't they get their personality from the tom? And isn't the tom always the wild one, and the queen the domestic, so their personality is always going to be a bit 'iffy'?

| | | Re: Wildcat Photo (captive) They have pure bred wildcats at New forest wildlife centre (or otter owl sanctuary as it used to be known) and (I think) the british wildlife centre in Surrey too. They probably have them at Highlands wildlife park and Im sure one at least of the 'big' zoos has them too.
Im not a cat person but these guys are rather excellent | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
