| | | Re: Fox or Badger or what? I am afraid no species will compete with me on the peanut eating front! I'm certainly not going to waste KP's finest on some mangy old badger or fox!!
I went had a search for poo and fur / hairs but saw nothing at all. My neighbour put an apple out on the track but it was still there the next day. Perhaps they are not as habitual as I thought.
I am still amazed that whatever it is I haven't seen it - as winter approaches perhaps the probability of seeing one will increase.

I think your idea of putting a layer of sand down in the hope of getting prints was a good one. Easily done and exciting to check in the morning . |

Do try the sand though. I'd love you to find out exactly what is coming into your garden. Maybe it's only me that gets excited about looking to see if you've got a print or not but I doubt it . |

| | | Re: Fox or Badger or what? Hello again
Just had a thought put out an old boot or a work glove, foxes around here can't resist them. If it dissappears or is chewed its likely to be a fox. Never known a badger to steal boots from the garden. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
