Unless and until the scientific evidence is absolutely conclusive in terms of supporting a cull LEAVE OUR BADGERS ALONE

The 'lessons' that the Government learnt from the appeal in Wales will have been studied well. They will be prepared, with a strategy and answers for the backlash and the appeal that will (hopefully) be lodged.
This whole thing saddens me greatly.

Let's hope that some of the measures taken by the PAC group to combat this ridiculous murdering spree in Wales can be used to help the fight in England.

| | | Re: Badger cull now planned for England No mention of the deer which is also a carrier and has a far bigger range than a badger has.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard somewhere that the deer population is larger now than it was in Elizabethan times. |

| | | Re: Badger cull now planned for England I am not in favour of a cull until at least it can be proven that the spread of the disease can be pinpointed to badgers, but something needs to be done if newspaper reports are to be believed when they state that the goverment pays out 90 million in compensation to farmers and this figure is expected to triple in the next few years.
Does anybody know if the compensation offered/given to farmers means that the farmer will not lose anything if they have infected livestock. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
