Bat Box Success

Hi All

How many of you have had bat boxes successfully taken up by the little lovlies?

What types do you all have?

Hi, I did have a look a a bat box in the garden center the other day. It looked like a robin nest box only more camouflaged. I didn't buy it in the end, I thought I might have a go at making a few bird, bat and insect boxes this winter as a project.
I am also not sure where my local bats come from or how far they travel, I have quite a few large trees around but not in my garden so couldn't put a box on one of these.

Hi City chick,have you got a bat box yet? If you have, did any bats use it?

I have a three boxes that regularly get occasional use, a big rectangular Schwegler, a double chamber wooden box and a pole mounted planking box.
There are other boxes that have been used but nothing seems to beat waney edged cladding on the house. Tiles attract part time lodgers
