Cat and shrew
I've seen domestic cats catch shrews many times but this morning I saw one eating its prey. I've not seen that before. Normally they kill them and discard them. Any comments?

I'm sure i have ready something that said they don't taste very nice, not that I've tried them myself of course.

My cats have brought shrews in before, but I don't think they've ever eaten them.

They are distasteful to carnivores in general, perhaps the cat has been trained on curries?
