Doesn't that contravene the DDA (Dormouse Disability Act)? How are the wheelchair bound or partially sighted dormice supposed to use it safely? What about Health & Safety? There should be netting beneath it in case they try to drop bricks on passing motorists in protest to the bypass!

On one side of the road the thing doesn't connect with a tree are they supposed to jump? |

Well then they could have paraglided across Saved the expense. The chap said that 'they don't like open spaces' and there are huge gaps in the tubes, one look outside and they'll all go home again! |

I did see a program some time ago where a similar 'bridge' was being made, but over a much shorter distance, and connected to trees aither side. Let's hope it works. |
