| | | bats aren't all batty Nothing to do with British wildlife at all but interesting naythe less. How many of you know that the only known instance of a male mammal lactating and feeding the young is the Dayak bat of West Africa? Yup, that's right, the male Dayak bat comes into milk when his young are born - they pair bond - and shares the feeding of the batlets with his missus. Google Dayak bat and be awestruck by what evolution can do.

| | | Re: bats aren't all batty Nature could be pushing us the same way. Unfortunately womens lib pushed things a little too quickly, men can't lactate yet but most do their share with the little-ones. Lots of men out there getting men boobs, only a matter of time before Tesco do Male nursing pads. |
