| | | Re: "Urban fox hunters" beat fox to death in London The shock of what has recently happened with mr fox in London has made me for one look at feeding wild animals in a different light. If I encourage these or other animals into my garden I might like it, but my neighbours might not. My neighbours could regard them as a pest. When they inevitably visited their gardens they could have them shot. Therefore would I have a part in pulling that trigger? Bit of a problem to solve! If you look at the differing opinions on this subject and the passion, wild animals encouraged into domestic surroundings are in a lot of danger. |

Their territories vary in size according to how many habit an area. They will patrol these each night scavenging for food so if you should leave some scraps out they treat it as a bonus.
Even if you didn't feed them they still might visit a neighbour's garden and that neighbour could have them shot if they were so inclined. Urban foxes are well established in most towns now, and if a few should meet untimely deaths it won't make much difference to their numbers.
