Ric | I did exactly the same last week when I went over the back end of a rabbit and had to get out and kill the front end. Not always possible of course (motorways etc).
Still, I bet everyone with a rifle has hit a rabbit in the face rather the cranium. Easily done with a deer heart shot too (hitting the gut). If they run off, there's not much chance of finding them. |
