| | | Bats in the window! Found this bat in a window gap whilst cleaning a house that had been stood for a long time and the windows left on the catches to let air in.
Am I right in thinking its a Pipistrelle?
The photo was taken this time last year near Mansfield.(I've only just found it)
The site manager said flick it out with a stick (we didn't want to shut the window as we were scared we'd hurt it) but it flew off on its own by the time we had phoned the RPSCA.

Cheers,shenk1 | There is plenty of advice on bat handling on the interweb but basically be gentle, wear gloves, offer water, keep it warm and safe in a ventilated box, then contact the helpline on Bat Conservation Trust for help and/or advice
