all the best
D | The question as phrased did't say 'wild' so I would imagine it is one of the elephants kept in zoos |

The Shetland Islands are not part of this island of Great Britain, because they're separate islands, so we have islands called Mainland, Yell, Unst etc, that collectively we call the Shetland Islands, and a much larger one nearby called Great Britain. Same for the Orkney Islands. The British Isles refers to Great Britain, the island of Ireland, the Shetlands, Orkneys, and all of the other offshore islands grouped together.
This is mainly geographical terminology. Politically, the United Kingdom administers the British Isles minus the Republic of Ireland and the Isle of Man. |
