Doe and fawns

While out walking in the local wood i was standing in a clearing when a doe deer and 2 fawns ran past as if spooked by something ,i had my macro lens at the time but managed a few shots.They did not notice me until very close in my camo gear .
The two fawns ran different directions and the doe ran past me again with a fawn to catch uo with the other fawn .Are they roe deer,and is it unusual to have 2 fawns ?.

Ive just been told they are roe deer but any confirmation will be welcome

Yes, they're Roe deer (Capreolus capreolus). Twins are common -- indeed the norm, given that in Britain some 75% of does produce twins --while only about 20% produce a single fawn and 5% have triplets (although it's rare that all three survive). Nice action shots.
