According to the article on the BBC news website the documentry was made by the film company the twins dad works for. Not quite impartial then and I wonder if this fact will be made known in the film. (Not to say what happend did/didn't but just intersting from a responsible reporting point of view) BBC News - Fox attack twin girls likely permanently scarred

| | | Re: re fox attack in london I love they way they portray everyone who was skeptical is evil...
And if they really wanted an expert, they should have got someone from Bristol Uni, ie Stephen Harris, rather than a pest controller who is hardly going to say they are fine when he can make masses of money when people panic to have their garden foxes killed...

Bryant runs a 'humane deterrence service', but he's hardly an advocate of a wholesale fox cull: "His twenty years experience includes being a hunt saboteur, a Council member and vice Chairman of the RSPCA, manager of an animal sanctuary for eight heart breaking years, appearing in court charged with 'receiving' two 'smoking beagles', serving as Chairman of Animal Aid's Council for four years and then as a full time official of the League Against Cruel Sports".
I thought his comments at the end of the program about possible perils of feeding foxes where very pertinent. I suspect Stephen Harris or David MacDonald would give the same advice
Cheers

There were other bits in it, such as the mother claiming the fox was 'clawing to get back in' and they cut to a picture of a fox just standing there while looking through a back door window, hardly clawing to get in!. I have that in my garden and if you walk towards the window they run off! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
