| | Bank voles.... My new house guests. Hi.
I have recently discovered that i have bank voles (after hours of researching the internet i have finally identified them).
After reading some related posts on here it seems to be strange to have them indoors..... someone needs to tell the voles that, i have found them in the kitchen and living room, not to mention waiting around the back door for someone to let them in. They are very friendly and seem like being stroked and filmed (i actually have a video on my fone of me stroking one!!!!)
The problem is how do i get rid of them, without using poision ... they really are very cute and i dont want them to suffer yet i dont want to become over run by them either.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |

They're really easy to operate and mine's never failed. Then you can pop the voles outside, away from your house. You'd best find how they're getting in, though! |

| | | Re: Bank voles.... My new house guests. Lol, its amazing how qiuckly they can lose their fear. I had a similar experience not so long ago with one of these in my place of work. It would come up to the front office doors to except food (from hand) off us and take it back to its young...they loved toast
Best bet is to gather them up and release them away from your home. Find an area with good vegetation to allow them some sort of saftey untill they can get their bearings...i will pm you with a suitable indoor humane trap for the more illusive of the bunch.
I see i got beaten to it | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
