This has been a constent problem for a couple of months now! We had birds in the loft and bats! But mice have got to be the worst! they have moved from our shed to the loft! |

| | | Re: Mouse problem again!. I had problems with mice for about 4-5 years running when i moved into the house i am currently in now. I tried all the traps, baits etc, even an electrical one, but they seemed to just keep on coming back. I read on the net that peppermint or spearmint essential oil would deter them and thought i had nothing to lose by trying. In a used washing up liquid bottle, i mixed about 20 - 30 drops of peppermint oil (must be essential oil) with a small amount of vodka and filled up with water and squirted around the edge of the garden, under kitchen cupboards i placed a few drops on cotton wool balls and placed them underneath. Very happy to say i havent seen a mouse since
Although, i do have to keep squirting the mixture round the garden nearly every week in summer but its not so bad in the winter.
Hope this helps | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
