Mole???

Hi there,

I have just seen something with a long nose and fat little black feet trying to get out of a whole on our patio - the patio is block paved and the whole is where the paving is concreted around the edge between the wall of the house and the paving itself. The whole is about 10/12 feet from where the grass starts but it definitely wasn't a rat ...would this have been a mole? As it was in the hole the only thing I could see was the long blunt nose and the feet.

I'd squeak it was a mole....

Well it was a mole, Got some great pics....we had to get a hammer and chisel and make the hole in the patio bigger so the mole could get out, we then took him down the back of the garden and he dug under the compost heap, hope he will be okay.
