| | Urban fox den manchester/cheshire Hi,
I'm currently studying an MA in Wildlife Documentary and for my major project I'm focusing on the affect Sarcoptes scabiei/ mange has on foxes. I'm currently looking for a fox suffering from mange and an active urban fox den with cubs around the Manchester/Cheshire area. My documentary aims to show the beauty of foxes.
I would be really grateful for any help you can give me, Cheers, Jo |

I'm writing from a television company and we are currently working on a documentary series about urban foxes. We are really interested in filming at dens in the Manchester/Cheshire area and finding out about Urban foxes in that area. I was just reading your post from a few years ago and was wondering if you had any luck finding dens and how your project went?
It would be great to have a chat to you about this. If you are interested then you can either reply to this post or you can directly e-mail me at: fox@windfallfilms.com
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Kelly |

I've actually just spoken to Peter Fison from Windfall Films about this project Ray from Lower Moss Wood Wildlife Hospital passed my details on to him. I am currently chasing up my contacts and looking for more dens closer to the city centre. I'll keep you posted on what I find, cheers, Jo |

I am at the moment wondering what is digging under a shed in my garden
It has filled the shed with earth that it has moved from under the shed.
The shed is now at a tilt and I am desperate to know what I have in my garden as I have a very large GSD and I would hate for it to be harmed.
If you have nay cameras you could use to see into the hole I would be grateful |

| | | Re: Urban fox den manchester/cheshire Hi Jo, Kelly & urbanfox.
I am a director/editor in manchester with a huge interest in urban foxes. I am currently working full time at a production company that unfortunately doesn't deal in wildlife documentaries so my real love in wildlife filming has taken a bit of a back seat. anyway i have just bought myself a pretty good camera trap if you would like my help at all in filming or tracking foxes i'm more than willing to give up a bit of free time to help. I was actually going to set up my camera tomorrow in the peaks but if you urbanfox would like to use it to discover what is digging under your shed i would be more than happy and intrigued to let you use it.
If any of you need any assistance i can give you some good contacts in filming foxes as i done my dissertation in it a few years ago. |

There is a new development in my shed. There is some poo but it is so mall I cannot imagine it to be a fox. It is only half an inch by quarter inch in size. Whatever it is it is still digging | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
