| | | Polecats in kent? This evening at about 6.30 I was amazed to find an Albino Polecat wandering around my garden. My daughter watched it as I ran for my camera but it was off under the fence into my neighbours rather unattended garden. Could this possibly be where it is living? Hope it comes back as I am keeping my camera very handy. |

| | | Re: Polecats in kent? This creature is approximately twice the size of a ferret with a body more than twice the width and with a really bushy tail. Its feet are bigger than those of our Yorkshire Terrier and it has scared the Chocolate Labrador next door to us. We have seen this animal about 5 times now and it is deffinitely not a ferret. |

| | | Re: Polecats in kent? A ferret will puff itself up. Tail can 'bottle-brush', and the ferret can almost look double it's size. Ferrets and polecats are similar sizes.
As it's wandering 'round your garden, it is likely to be a lost ferret. This time of year you can get a lot of escapees, due to ferrets coming into season.
Of course I could be totally off the mark and you do have an albino polecat or even mink visiting your garden. |

Please catch it and or at least phone your nearest ferret rescue witch will be sittingbourne I think and there people I know in Sevenoaks(i can get details if you PM me) please don't phone the RSPCA they been known to tell people to releace ferret back out when this is illigal and a death sentance.
if it is a ferret it won't last long out on its own.
