Right- I've done it.
You have to register your name and addres and email address.
Then the first page of report a sighting is garbled, (ignore the top bit of other people's sightings) but click on one of these:
I have seen one or more live hedgehogs in my garden
I have seen no live hedgehogs in my garden
I have seen one or more live hedgehogs elsewhere
Then click Next and do all the rest. and the following pages. |

I have a real problem with that questionnaire, it doesn't have a box for...
I have seen 23 or more live hedgehogs in my dining room.  |

We have a hedgehog building away under our shed here in Alresford in Hampshire. |

She's probably nesting to give birth there. Please put food and water out for her if you don't already. She'll take it before having the babies but then won't come out for several days after the birth. Don't stop putting it out as she'll be very hungry and the better fed and watered she is, the more chance the babies will survive.
Whatever you do, don't disturb the nest in any way or she may abandon or kill the little ones. |

We have a large garden & field (3 acres in total) so I hardly ever see hedgehogs even though I do find droppings. However on Friday and Saturday evening between 7 & 8pm a gorgeous hedgehog appeared foraging under the bird feeders. Duly reported of course! Will be keeping a close watch on it now.

We have our first hedgehog this year (first in 8 years!) makes near daily exits from our garden late afternoon from the same area... Not sure when it arrives. Hasn't been here today though.. | | | |
