Deer i.d

I saw a pair of deer today and wondered if anybody could please i.d them for me.They where grey/brown in colour and both had a white rear end

Possibly roe deer, although your description is very vague. How big where they? what did their faces look like (black moustache)? Did they have black on the tail?

yes they had black facial markings but I would say about the size of a great dane and also white tails,sorry can't be more specific

Most likely Roe deer, as Dogghound already said.

best way to check is to look in the Gallery for a picture ... then you can decide for yourself.
