That was me unprepared on hearing the story's ' headline'  ... I see now the bear in both shots is the same one - and cleverly edited into the photo. It was the Woodland Trust last year, with the new species of butterfly that evolved in a woods...

That was in a new post added shortly before midday though - I thought that the original story was done very well (and the position of the bear was perhaps deliberately changed between the two). |

This would have been the wildlife record of the century but there was no chance that I would have been April fooled!
Easy to say on 2nd April though  .
